* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southeastern Knox County in northeastern Missouri...
  Southwestern Lewis County in northeastern Missouri...
  Northwestern Marion County in northeastern Missouri...
  Northern Shelby County in northeastern Missouri...

* Until 545 PM CDT.

* At 448 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
  near Steffenville to 5 miles northeast of Clarence, or along a line
  from 17 miles southeast of Edina to 11 miles northwest of Shelbina,
  moving east at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
           roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Plevna, Newark, Bethel, Steffenville, Shelbyville, Ewing, Emden,
  Philadelphia and Maywood.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds and
large hail.

Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter
immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
structure.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT Thursday for a
portion of northeast Missouri.
