Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS... Weak high pressure 30.10 inches will move east of the lake overnight. A 29.60 inch low will lift out of the Plains and into the Upper Midwest on Tuesday, lifting a warm front across the waters. A cold front will move over the lake from the west Tuesday and Tuesday night, but will stall and dissipate by Wednesday morning. A stronger cold front will sweep east across the lake Wednesday afternoon and evening as new low pressure develops over southern Ontario. This low will deepen to 29.60 inches by early Thursday before transferring its energy to low pressure developing off the New England coast. Troughing of 29.80 inches will then extend back into the Great Lakes Friday and into the weekend.
