THIS MORNING TO 7 PM CDT /6 PM MDT/ THIS EVENING FOR WIND AND LOW
RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA...

* AFFECTED AREA...In South Dakota, McPherson, Brown, Marshall,
  Roberts, Edmunds, Day, Potter, Faulk, Spink, Clark, Codington,
  Grant, Hamlin, Deuel, Stanley, Sully, Hughes, Hyde, Hand,
  Jones, Lyman and Buffalo.

* WINDS...South 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 20 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that ignite will spread rapidly and become
  difficult to control or suppress.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
