For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 29.9 inch cold frontal trough will push across the
lake this morning. The axis of a 30.1 inch high will slide east
across the lake today and tonight. This axis will cross New
England on Thursday before the high becomes anchored off the coast
Thursday night and Friday. Another cold front will cross the lake
Friday night before high pressure builds across the region for
the first half of the weekend. A strong cold front is forecast to
cross the lake on Sunday.
