...One Last Day of Hot and Humid Conditions...

High pressure will stay strong over the area for one last day
allowing for near record high temperatures and sticky humidity
levels. As a result, many locations will see heat indices peaking
in the 100 to 105 degree range for a brief time this afternoon.
Take precautions if outside for extended periods of time by
wearing loose fitting and light colored clothes, having frequent
breaks, and drinking plenty of water. Be sure to extend this extra
attention to the heat impacts for any outdoor pets and livestock.
