Offshore Waters Forecast for the US Arctic Waters

Sea forecasts represent an average of the highest one-third of
the combined wind wave and swell height. Individual waves may be
twice as high.

.SYNOPSIS FOR ARCTIC WATERS...
A weak area of low pressure moves east over the Beaufort Sea
today. A 996 mb low moves offshore of Point Hope Friday morning
and remains there through Saturday before moving inland on Sunday. A
1017 mb high west of Wrangel Island builds in tonight and remains
the dominant feature in the Chukchi/Beaufort Sea through Saturday
morning. Then a 1001 mb low from the North Pole drops south to
about 500 NM NW of Utqiagvik as a 1013 mb high remains in the
Beaufort Sea.
