...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT CATTARAUGUS...SOUTHEASTERN ERIE
AND SOUTHEASTERN CHAUTAUQUA COUNTIES THROUGH 330 PM EDT...

At 225 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Gowanda to 7 miles northeast of Frewsburg to
near Lottsville to near Corry. Movement was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Jamestown, Olean, Salamanca, Allegany State Park, Springville,
Gowanda, Ashford, Arcade, Allegany, Franklinville, Chaffee, Weston
Mills, Frewsburg, St. Bonaventure, Ashford Hollow, East Concord,
Jamestown West, Concord, Busti, and Collins.

This includes Interstate 86 between exits 14 and 27.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
