  Coastal waters from Altamaha Sound to Fernandina Beach FL out 20
  NM...
  Coastal waters from Fernandina Beach to St. Augustine FL out 20
  NM...

* Until 730 PM EDT.

* At 629 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 29 nm northwest of Talbot Island to 11 nm west of
  Amelia City to 8 nm west of Mayport to 14 nm west of Saint
  Augustine, moving north at 25 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Atlantic Beach, High Point, Mayport, Nassau Sound Approach Buoy 6a,
  Amelia City, Jekyll Island, Palm Valley, Jacksonville Beach, Talbot
  Island, Saint Andrews Sound, Buoy Kby, Saint Johns Lighted Buoy,
  Dungeness, Saint Marys Entrance Buoy 16, St Simons Sound Buoy 9,
  Cumberland Island, Whittakers Snapper Hole Reef, and St. Simons
  Island.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes. If your vessel is
caught offshore, immediately secure for heavy weather. Ensure all
crew members are wearing USCG approved Type I life jackets and
nonessential crew are below decks. Deploy jack lines and harnesses if
available. Check life saving equipment, including batteries on
handheld radios, for readiness.

Frequent lightning is occurring with these storms. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.

Report severe weather to the Coast Guard or the National Weather
Service.
