  Long Island South Shore Bays...

* Until 1100 PM EDT.

* At 928 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 7 nm west of Upper New York Harbor to near Cliffwood
  Beach to 13 nm southwest of Union Beach, moving east at 30 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

  Sandy Hook Bay, Keansburg, Lower New York Harbor, The Verrazano
  Narrows Bridge, and Upper New York Harbor around 935 PM EDT.
  Rockaway Inlet around 945 PM EDT.
  Jamaica Bay around 955 PM EDT.
  Barnum Island, Entrance to New York Harbor, and Island Park around
  1010 PM EDT.
  Middle Bay around 1015 PM EDT.
  East Bay and Jones Inlet around 1020 PM EDT.

Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
Wind gusts 34 knots or greater, high waves, lightning, and heavy rain
are expected with these storms. If caught on the open water stay
below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded metal objects.
