.Elevated fire weather conditions will continue in the Kern
County Mountains and Mojave Desert Slopes through Monday morning.
The worst conditions will occur today and tonight.

EXTREME HEAT, LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY AND STRONG WINDS FOR FIRE
WEATHER ZONE 596...

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zone 597.

* WIND...75% Probability of Wind Gusts 30 mph or greater.

* HUMIDITY...10% or lower.

* IMPACTS...Any ignition source such as cigarette butts or
  vehicles stopped in grassy areas are dangerous. Outdoor
  burning is not recommended. Conditions are favorable for
  rapid fire spread and extreme fire behavior which could
  threaten life and property. The hot temperatures will bring
  the potential for large vertical plume growth.
